1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Loamy, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on inloamy.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Loamy is a B2B agrifood traceability platform; our cookie use is limited to what is necessary to operate the site and measure aggregate usage; we do not run advertising cookies or behavioral tracking.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognise your device across page loads, store session state, and measure aggregate usage patterns. We also use related technologies such as local storage (for example, to record whether you have dismissed the cookie notice banner).
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session token, CSRF protection, cookie-banner dismissal state | session to 12 months |
| Preferences | language, display theme | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | self-hosted analytics, anonymised page-view counts | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | - |
4. Notice and Choice
Loamy uses a notice-only consent model for visitors in the United States. Non-essential cookies (analytics) may load on your first visit to inloamy.com; a banner at the bottom of the page informs you of this use and links here for details. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time through our cookie banner (click "Cookie preferences" in the footer to re-open it) or by configuring your browser to block cookies.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (for example, California under the CPRA, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honour browser-transmitted opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we suppress analytics initialisation for that session.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties acting as our service providers (for example, anonymised site analytics). We have data-processing agreements with such providers limiting their use of data to operating the service on our behalf. We do not use third-party advertising networks or cross-site tracking technologies.
7. Managing Cookies
- Click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any Loamy page to re-open the cookie notice and opt out of analytics;
- Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at any time; see aboutcookies.org for browser-specific instructions;
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent certain features of the Service from functioning correctly.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any change. Questions about our cookie practices can be directed to:
